Quick re-recorded the clip before rehearsals last night. Didn't have much time to fiddle around the settings and mic positioning

Angelus 24 with Holydiver -> Savage 120 -> 1960B (V30s&T75s X pattern) -> mic'd the V30 with a SM57 -> Sonar. MIDI bass. SSD EX (metal hybrid kit) for drums. Quad tracked

The playing could be tighter AND I should've tamed down some of the delay...

ehm... bass at 10 on the amp?
How much did you cut off from that? A lot I guess...
I normally put my bass always on the least, from 2 to - 4, but I never used an ENGL Savage though

The Savage with the bass on 10 isn't very extreme. It's definitely a bit bassy, but no more than a Recto with the bass on noon, if that makes sense ;)

Tr00 dat, but when you engage the depth boost there's way too much bass :loco: even now it had too much bass to play in band situation IMO. I usually keep the bass around 2 o'clock when playing with band.
