Here's a quick update on the label's happenings for you.

First off we have revamped the website, allowing easier access for those on slower connections and making it a bit less hassle to navigate. You can find MP3s and information about all our releases and all the up to minute news on the forum.

Check it out at www.elitistrecords.co.uk .

Ephel Duath released "The Painter's Palette" last Monday the 19th May (it's out on the 17th June in North America) and so far the response has been amazing! So far we have 9/10 in Grind Zone, 95/100 on www.hmportal.it , KKKKK in Kerrang (two page feature on the band coming soon) and many more. I don't want to jinx it, but we haven't seen a negative comment about this album so far. And rightly so...

A video clip of the song "The Passage" can be downloaded in Real Video format from our friends at www.ultimatemetal.com . Visit the site and follow the link on the front page. An MP3 of the track is available at the Elitist website.

The band have also just re-opened their website, with a stunning piece of design work from Peppe at Temn0.un.Art. Visit it at www.ephelduath.net and be sure to sign the guest book.

Wolverine have run into a few problems with the re-mixing of their debut album for Elitist, "Cold Light Of Monday". The band took the master tapes to the renowned Space Lab studios in Germany only to find that the original recordings were too badly engineered to be able to fix in a way the band would like.

The band have taken the decision to re-record everything besides the drums and keyboards back at Space Lab in July, meaning we will have to push the expected release date for this album to later in 2003. Judging from the quality of the actual songs we have heard so far, this will be well worth the wait!

Juliette (female vocals) and Roomy (guitar) have parted company with Without Face and have returned to their native Hungary. The band is keen to continue and is looking for suitable replacements.
The band are based in Nottingham, England, and are looking for a skilled, experienced guitarist and a quality female vocalist who would be able to withstand recording and touring commitments.

Email directly to withoutface@withoutface.com in the first instance or send a videotape and/or CD with a picture/bio to the following address:

That's all for now. It was just a quick one as I said.
