Sorry to say that but the old version sounds way better for me. Though both are quite muddy. But the Windsor has that bzzzzz on top that I don't dig, so...

Sounds really good, very fat/sludgy (almost fuzzy), which can work for some genres (sludge/stoner/indus of course, but also for some agressive metal if played a tad tighter/less gainy, like on the last Merauder).
