reason being for not voting communist: I plan on joining armed forces and they'll probably look at my voting records... having casting a communist vote could come back to haunt me!
and it'd haunt you anyway.
 
I'm less afraid of that since they would have to actively search for it, when I bet they just keep all voting records easily accessible on some big database!
