You guys should tour WITHOUT a support band of any kind, just tear it up with a longer set and maybe some songs you havent played in a while *cough*Politics of Ecstasy*cough* what you think? Come on Warrel, i know you're gonna read this

Yeah maybe. But alot of people who showed up to see Opeth got their first taste of NeverLive last time around. And were rightfully blown away!!

The Learning should be a necessity on every show.

I see we agree once again JimBob!

The Learing should be played every show. Killer song if not their best!

when i saw nevermore in april 2001 it was all dhiadw stuff they rocked the hell out of the joint but it would of been nice to have had more classics, next in line was superb though

:D

NeVeRhEaD !

Its much more important for the band to get totally wasted during the show than to play a long set. After about an hour of playing / drinking its time to make up an excuse to end the show before band members start falling over.

Priorities!!

Don't you know nuthin'?????

Life is a perpetual party....

Welll - having listened to Iced Earths show (touring through europe in february and march?) u could have experienced something completely different!!!! A nearly 3 hours show, superb done (at least the one I attended) w/o support! Whoaa, amazing ...
--> u see there are other prioritys (at least for some bands) hahaha
I wished for _Nevermore to do the same on the next tour!!! sigh *cough*

I know about April. and in March there was Dreaming Neon Black and Seven Tongues of God...:err: I probably forgot something... somebody maybe remembers.... was there Beyond Within? (and I'm still dreaming...) shit, I don't remember. :(

I saw Nevermore with Opeth last year, I was there for Nevermore and that's it, I was no where near impressed with Opeth, there were all these kids up front screaming "Opeth,Opeth,Opeth" and all I could think was "O please"

Me too there. I saw them live back in the PoE days and that is the only time they played it. And i have seen them 4 times in Greece. I can't describe how i felt listening to its first note.

They played it at Wacken 2000 too but they told the crowd that it was very special for them to be playing it.

But your right it's hardly ever played these day's
