R.I.P. Jim Marshall

The Righteous Brothers once wrote:

"If there's a rock and roll heaven, well you know they've got a hell of a band"

Now with Jim joining Leo and Les Paul, it's got some of the all time great instrument and amp builders as well. Sad news indeed.

RIP Jim, well wishes to his family in this time of loss.

RIP Jim - you will never be forgotten and your amps will live on forever... I humbly bow to the master... :worship: :worship: :worship:

Sad day for rock n roll indeed. I was lucky enough to meet the guy and he gave me a nice signed poster. He was deaf as all hell being a drummer and the creator of one of the worlds loudest creations in rock.

R.I.P.

I wouldn't have enjoyed 80's metal so much without the JCM800. :worship:

Wow on MegaDave's comment "I have never been sadder than today..." Jim must have meant a lot to him.

You will be sorely missed Guv'nor. RIP.

Not intending to pollute here but anyone catch that EmperroR crapinets disaster? What a toolshed of a company.

A Legend. The tube amps from marshall are absolutely amazing.
My first real amp is a marshall combo and still kicks ass
