R.I.P. - Kevin Dubrow

the album condition critical is so underrated. all the songs are stright up sing along anthems yet the album hasn't even sold half of what metal health has. thats a crime. "bay boy" and "scream and shout" ftw

I'm missing a few. I still need the first two (with Randy Rhodes), Terrified, and Down To The Bone.

i'm not counting the first 2 with rhoads because they were never officially made on cd. there are bootlegs that look like factory pressed albums but they aren't. heres how i'd rank them not counting the 2 rhoads or the shortino album so you'll kick yourself for not have terrified.
1 metal health(a classic in metal, a good mix of what became metal and 70's sounding metal)
2 terrified (the heaviest QR album)
3 rehab (70's style hard rock)
4 condition critical (the songs are catchier than metal health but goofier too and theres nothing like "don't wanna let you go" or "breathless")
5 down to the bone (the most experimental QR album. hints of country, grunge, funk and reggae)
6 alive and well (very solid)
7 qrIII (a little poppy but the ballads are great)
8 guilty pleasures (very good but a little too rehashed sounding. its also missing a cover song which they always do great and helps out all the albums)

Have you heard the album with Paul Shortino? I've heard a song or two from it and what I've heard is OK, just not really Quiet Riot in my opinion. They probably should have called the band something else, but I get why they did it. They were having problems with Dubrow and the name Quiet Riot probably helped them sell a few more copies than another name would have.

i have the shortino album. its great but its not quiet riot. they should have called it rough riot or quiet cutt. a mixing of the 2 bands from which the members came from
