Last night the drummer was here and we were working on a drumsound that is reminiscent of the new RHCP album: just a spacious and natural/earthy drumsound. I ended up writing a little radio rock song.

On this one I reversed my usual panning perspective for drums! Usually I pan from the drummers perspective, but this time I went with the audience perspective. Kinda weird having the low toms sit on the left and the hat on the right, despite the fact that this is how they are in rehearsal also
Tambourine was added with Stylus RMX (which is the best tambourine/shaker-simulator ever, imho) ...
I am quite happy with everything but the snare. I wish it would be a bit fatter. Any ideas?
