I now have an online radio show at school. It's at 5pm Eastern Time (US) on Wednesdays, and I'm starting today.

The show will mostly consist of metal, of course, but I might throw in a few other genres every now and then.

Dude, when I click to start the playing, it tells me that I'm downloading a .pls file, and asks which program I should use to open it

It's a playlist file format. What's your go-to media player? Winamp or VLC (among others) should/will be able to handle this...
