Anyone know of a really good online radio station that will play actual good metal from bands i may & may not have heard of? The sort of metal i listen to is generally in the range of opeth,katatonia,novembre.. generally dark/depressing themed metal but not always going into the realms of extreme death.. although i dont mind it sometimes. Not really a fan of your Dream Theatery over the top glamorous metal stuff.. Anyways im rambling.. anybody know of a decent radio station that can get me (and anyone else who's interested) into some good metal bands?

A buddy of mine hosts a hard rock/metal radio show on Mondays at 3:15 Eastern Standard Time. If you're in the Kitchener/Waterloo, Ontario area, you can find it on your dial at 100.3 FM. www.blackmetalradio.com has some good stuff on it. And it isn't all Black Metal as one would be led to believe by the name of the site.

My radio station isn't an online one, but I thought this might be a good oppurtunity to plug a really decent program called 'Full Metal Racket'. Tuesdays at 10pm on Triple J (90.3FM). As most Aussies would know, it's extremely hard to find quality metal anywhere in Australia, so I hope this helps. Continue.
