I use to own a compilation album called heavy metal thunder.On it along with saxon were demon,dokken rose tattoo and a band called rage.The song by Rage is called dont thank that woman.They ha d an album called out of control.Can anyone shed any light on thos band and the album?I have never been able to find the album is worth putting the leg work in to find it?

Cheers rick(if may call you that)I knew they were on the same label as saxon an dpete hinton produced them as it it turns out your link was great help it turns out they were a uk band (thanks kellym) and all i have to do now is save up the cash.

I forgot about that band
I bought a Noise Records compilation album called Extreme Noise in the early 1990's and there is a song by Rage called 'don't fear the winter'. Great speed metal, fast double drumming song I did intend to get some of there albums but i could not find any at the time.

That sounds very familiar, think i had the same or similar compilation around 1991 when i left school....Im sure i remember liking that song alot.

Just been downloading some sound clips off the Rage website www.rage-on.de good stuff!!
Think i'll have to order some Rage cd's off the net in the not to distant future

LOL. Yes i know, but im interested in the German Rage.
You just reminded me about the band name, im allways on the lookout for some decent German power metal, its good stuff
