Best bass player ive ever seen and hear is Les Claypool, he is a god. Does things that no one else can or has even though about doing, and he can play any genre which is even better.

Eh, I can appreciate Les for who he is, and can tolerate some Primus.

Though the difference is his playing is just style over substance that isn't even written to fit the music. It's a completely different style.

I would have killed to be in the room when he auditioned for Metallica
