So the new Rammstein Album came out yesterday and I think we need a thread for it! After seeing the somewhat OTT video for the lead single, I hadn't held up too much hope for the album. How wrong I was!

This thing has killer everything, it's the best music since Mutter. That includes the production too- this is the best produced Rammstein album yet as well. Anyway, enough of me jabbering on about this for now- DEFINITELY pick this one up at all costs as fast as you can.

Time to get my march on to Waidmanns Heil! :headbang: Anyone headed to one of the three dates here in the UK February next year?

I'll buy it this evening.
November 14th will go to the show in Bilbao. This time I got the tickets months ago, last time it was sold out and I missed it.

Some years ago, I was true metal headbanger and hated Rammstein and all the False Metal around the world, hahaha, I finally escaped from the sect of Manowars disciples, now I still love Manowar and "true" metal but I'm more open minded and Rammstein is perhaps one of my top 10 bands.

I´m addicted! This is pure fucking quality, i´m excited :) "Waidmann´s Heil" is awesome. The chorus is perfect to sing along with!

And the wind instrument intro  Great!

Love the songs Haifisch and Liebe Ist Fur Alle Da! :kickass: but I think that the album sound less 'bombastic' than Mutter or Reise Reise, and I miss that.

And I dont like the kick at all, sounds cheap and programed to my ears :erk:

+1 to all of that. It definitely sounds cool and I'll pick this up ASAP, but Mutter and Reise Reise sound sooooooo much better and more powerful!

I like all except the title track so far. Some of the best songs imo are on the bonus cd though.

The guitar riffing is far away from being innovative for sure!! What I really like is the use of wind instruments and choirs. There are some really nice arrangements harmonically.

I don´t like the kick, but that´s not weighty considering the total sound. The guitars sounds great!

The kick is indeed really bad, sounds so digital that sucks. As for the album, for what I heard I was expecting much better but I have to heard a few more times.

I don't know about you guys, but the drums sound more natural than anything else. Not sure why everyone is calling it "digital" sounding, I think the mix sounds awesome. The guitar tone is awesomely thick :kickass:

That snare sounds a bit thinner to my ears than in previous albums. I don't like it as much as I used to do. Although I love the ring it has.
The kick sounds awful, sounds like really bad replaced with a sample that didn't fit the hardest parts. However, it's perfect for the softer parts...
The bass sounds as always: really blended in the mix but nice
The guitars are as muddy as always (no tube screamer), but I love the tone, as I always did.
I absolutely love how vocals sound, REALLY warm and compressed.

Nice production, yeah :D

Songs are good on this one! Not a fan of the production, kicks horrid and the guitars sound a bit undergained at least on the title track.

But the music matters more....and it is good! :D
