I was not impressed with a first hearing but now that I heard the album better, I say that is a great album. Perhaps the best since Mutter and the bonus tracks are really good.

Yeah, I wonder why the bonus songs are not on the main album. Maybe because of some musical insecurity. The solo on "Donaukinder" sounds very, very retiring imo.
After listening to the whole album a couple of times, I actually like the title track It had to grow a bit.

In my opinion the bonus tracks are better than most of main tracks. Yeah but I understand what you say, I noticed that, the solo isn´t so bad but sounds too mechanical with almost no expression, there is no vibrato. But Donaukinder is one of my favourite songs. This is a album like the main song, grows after several listenings. It´s heavy, melodic, deep. I like it very much

Yeah, I think the solo is the reason they put this great song "Donaukinder" not on the main cd. It´s technically not good enough imo. It sounds amateurish, but it don´t make it unenjoyable for me, still one of the best songs on the album. The Child choir after the solo is very good, as well
Okay, I know what you mean...ufta- ufta- ufta- ufta beats, huh? This really do not disturb me, but I also prefer some marching stuff of em. Waidmann´s Heil is one of the strongest though IMO. I like the chorus a lot..short, but catchy!!
