Sounds about right except I would never use fruity loops. I've recorded ton's of Rap even tho it's not my thing. Just got sic of it and the people.

Well this guy has beats prepared already, he makes his own and he buys some from other guys. So really all that is involved is importing those wavs into Cubase, setting up a mic, setting up a couple of tracks with de-ess, comp and eq and going for it.

I agree. Usually I had to do everything except the vocals.
