RARE demo tape on eBay

Let's be perfectly honest here Jasey. You would never consider buying a tape that costs that much.

Listen dicknose.....
Long before your time I used to spend a LOT more than $125 on rare items.
I had almost EVERY original single by the Misfits in my collection.
You think I paid UNDER $125 for those?????

Sorry, but getting ribbed by a couple of noobs who live at home still doesn't exactly mean too much to me.

Come back when you support a family, have a mortgage, two cars, life insurance and health insurance for 5 people, etc, and see how quick you would jump on a $125 demo tape! LOL.....

He won't even buy a cd for $10, he only trades.

I don't ONLY trade. If there is something I REALLY want or need (IE - new Manilla Road, Helloween, Trouble, etc), I buy.

I have so much crap in my collection that for stuff that isn't a priority I look first to trade.

I also pick up lots of used stuff when I see something good, or stuff direct from bands at shows, etc.

But no, I don't sit home in my undies ordering from distros all night in between jerking to porn like you guys do......., sorry.....

DUDE. RE.LAX. My lord, you give me shit all the time but I make one comment and you flip out?

For me honestly I would never pay that much for a single item. And that's what I'm referring to, one item, so I don't know how that's a dig at me. I've never spent all my money on worthless shit; plus, this year if not early next I'll probably be moving out.

don't you know...you have to think about Jason's economic well being before you make any dig....on the return..he is able to make any comment since he is a "Metal Elder".

Not bitter at all.
If I HAD the excess cash flow as I did when younger and before the financial obligations I had today, I would gladly pay $125 for this. I paid $100 for the Novembers Doom demo tape a few years back.

As I said, Mendyke and See-mon live at home which gives them a LOT more financial freedom to constantly purchase new tunes. That's great. Good for you!

well Chanukkah is right around the corner. A little boy can always have hope.

the money I spent on stuff when living at home was insane....when I was working the bakery literally the only bills I had was phone and car. I would literally spend 300 a week on horror movie books / zines and music. now what sucks is having no room from having all that stuff.

Nothing wrong with living at home. I don't do it but I have friends who have for a reasonable period of time and saved up like 5 figures. Enough to buy EVERY original Misfits single...

Oh I"m not saying I wasn't like that and occasionally do now but this is the year I've been saving. This year for the most part actually I've been saving money and tend to only spend it at fests with the occasional cd here and there. I definitely knew it was getting out of hand.

The worst for me was working at FYE. I really got out of control. I mean working in a CD store I found some good stuff and I also had the option to special order stuff, and well, my discount was 30%. So yeah...

Overall I agree I guess. The problem is some people like me in the past will take advantage of it. That's when it's not cool. Everyone goes through it differently though. Up until recently I haven't had the ability to as, well, having terrible luck of being in bad companies with four layoffs (3 of those being in the last year) makes it impossible.

Yes Jason I would like to get the contact info, I tried a couple of years ago but it went nowhere.
I too had some original Misfits 7" but they were left with an ex-girlfriend about 12 years ago along with all my punk and hardcore vinyl.
