Raspberry Ice Cream!

The night before last I witnessed probably the most specatucular sunset I've ever seen. Gray clouds scattered about with a bright purple sky and orange horizons. It was beautiful... it looked like raspberry ice cream. Unfortunately I witnessed it from the freeway and didn't have my camera with me. But last night on the way home from work I noticed it was setting up to be another great sunset, so I grabbed my camera and went to the beach. Below are the photos. This sunset wasn't as awesome as the night before, but it's still one of the best I've seen, and I'm so glad I was able to take these pictures! Hope you enjoy them!

It's so beautiful when the sky is just a cascade of colour, like that. I love how it happens so rarely that when it does, your heart wrenches.

The funny thing is, usually pretty sunsets is due to pollution: Chemicals in the atmosphere that let only certain colors of light through. Nice pictures, though.

The raspberry ice cream refers more to the sunset from the day before that I didn't get pics of. I just didn't want to title this thread "More photos" or whatever, hehe.
