Ive been working on a few songs like this lately and im having some trouble with the sampled drums. They are too 'in your face' and all over the mix instead of having a more centered, room sound. Obviously since theyre fake i wont be able to get them to sound completely real but i was wondering what i may be able to do to acheive a more believable sound. I have a stereo imager on them which helped a bit, but im hesitant to try to put reverb on the drums as a whole, which was my initial instinct...any other comments would be cool too like on the guitars, etc.http://www.soundclick.com/kristrindl its the first track up there.
