I'm new around, after 1 hours of reading I’ve learn a lot on this forum. I can’t wait to go home & start doing all over again.

I made this song & recording where I’m trying to teach my self. Is not good as some clips on this forum but is my first ever metal song recorded/master without any help. Even if is not the best ! I’m proud of it, i already got a lot of tips for my future recordings. Any tip comment will help !

I was expecting something not so good from your description but my first reaction was "sounds big!".
I am learning myself and my recordings do not sound as good as yours. However if you want some critque then i would say that you could probably tighten up the sound. It sounds a little imprecise at times (only if you compare it to some of the pro stuff on this forum though...) and i think you need to get some of the high frequencies under better control. ~I felt the cymbols didn't really "sit" in the mix. Although compressed MP3 on myspace probably doesnt do it justice.
