Hey guys,

Click here to check it out!!!

We decided to take on the classic "Ravenous" off of Wages Of Sin. Obviously, the production won't even hold a torch to the original, But I tried and its one of my best so far.

Performance wise, it's very sick. Rich Rhefuss on guitar/bass and me on vocals and mixing. We both played a part in the drum programming. We changed a few things and added some flare but for the most part we stuck with the original.

Honestly, I almost feel like Im comitting a blasphemous act by posting this here but I think you guys might dig it. Feedback and criticism is welcomed. Thanks!

Pretty cool man, hadn't heard this song in a while. For me the the guitars are a little fizzy and I'd probably have less delay/reverb on the vocals. Nice job though man.

Nice cover dudes! I like when covers are made, that people wouldn't replicate the song 100%, but mix the original

with own style'n spices. Guitars sounds quite nasal to me but I like the vox!

Hey guys thanks alot of the critique and kind words so far. Very Much appreciated. The threads got over 100 views but hardly any replies, let me know what ya think!!

guitars are too low and too thin. Vocals are too loud and loose, for lack of a better term. I don't know how to describe what I mean in the vocals. Had it been me, the pan deal towards the end as it comes back in the chorus, I would have made the back and forth pan in time with the music in like 16th notes, kinda like how the tom fill right before does, if that makes sense.

I got to say, I was completely blown away. The vocals are way cooler than the original and the guitarist is absolutely disgusting. Is he on a label?

i love how the only person who has over 1k post is ripping the mix apart lolol

guitar tone is insanely week the drums are okay.
vocals need a lot better mixing, loose the delay man

Yooo guys, thank you for the good and bad. I'm cool with mixed reviews. I mean, the original is held in such high regard and I knew going in that 95% of the board wasnt gonna be pleased. So 5% is cool with me.

nwright - The critique is valued and I'll use the advice toward future mixes.

StratoArctica - We used to be in a band called Steadfast a few years ago which was literally within inches of being picked up by victory but there's no way our schedules could've facilitated that lifestyle. So after that it kinda fell apart and this was the first thing we've recorded together in almost 2 years. Def glad you dig it though!!

CatharsisStudios - Thanks for checkin it out! Always Delay!!! haha, maybe it's just too present in the mix. Tones have never been either of our strong points so its a learning process.
