Re-finishing my Ibanez S430II (long project in-progress...)

Ok, so I've officially started the re-finishing process for my old '89 Ibanez s430II.

I'm going to be updating this thread with pictures as I make progress on it. It's going to be a slow process, but hopefully this will appease those that like seeing pics of these projects.

Ahhh.... nice mohogony starting to peak through

Just from the little 2"x2" bare wood patch peaking through, I can tell I already love the grain of this wood. Once I get it sanded down a bit more I will have more of a vision of what I want to do with it. Depending on how nice the grain looks as a whole, I may end up staining it instead of painting. Not sure yet.
