Re-finishing my Ibanez S430II (long project in-progress...)

Ok, so I've officially started the re-finishing process for my old '89 Ibanez s430II.

I'm going to be updating this thread with pictures as I make progress on it. It's going to be a slow process, but hopefully this will appease those that like seeing pics of these projects. :)

Just from the little 2"x2" bare wood patch peaking through, I can tell I already love the grain of this wood. Once I get it sanded down a bit more I will have more of a vision of what I want to do with it. Depending on how nice the grain looks as a whole, I may end up staining it instead of painting. Not sure yet.
