Reactivated LAMENTED SOULS Announces Live Show, Begins Work On New Material - Sep. 16, 2009
Norwegian cult doom rockers LAMENTED SOULS are back in action.
After vocalist/guitar player Simen "Vortex" Hestnæs parted ways with DIMMU BORGIR earlier this month, it was only a matter of time until his original outfit would once again rear its ugly head. The band whose lineup also includes OJ "Apollyon" Moe (IMMORTAL, AURA NOIR), Olav Knutsen (WAKLEVÖREN, INFERNÖ) and Einar Sjursø (VIRUS) has been booked to play the prestigious Metal Merchants festival in the group's hometown of Oslo at the end of January 2010.

LAMENTED SOULS is currently working on material for the follow-up to 2004's "The Origins of Misery" and is looking for the proper label to release it. Interested parties can contact the band through the LAMENTED SOULS MySpace page.
