Recent addition to the Suspyre website is bios for each of the band members. So go to www.suspyre.com to read about Gregg, Rich, Clay, Andrew & Jeff! (Click on the band link)
OK, just read through it all and I am impressed with the training everyone has gone through, or is still going through.
And Clay, one day we will hang out and knock back a few of those exotic beers. I love to try micro brews and imports. Tonight I am enjoying a few from my 12 pack of Saranac. It's a mixed pack - 2 each of 6 different beers. Ahhh, good stuff.
There have been plenty of Saranac variety packs in my fridge over the last year...damn I love beer.
My wife's uncle has introduced me to a lot of good stuff over the years. He's my drinking buddy. Nearly everytime he comes to my house he brings a couple of bottles or 6 packs, and maybe some steaks to freeze for our next "beef and ale" night. Free food, free beer, and he sorta likes the same music as I do (he's more of a classic rock fan but he does like Dream Theater and similar bands, like Suspyre!). Good combo.
Jesus Jeff....not a single mention of WaWa under food or drinks. It's been a staple of our lives for years now. I've lost all faith...
I read through all the bio stuff, and it was interesting-ish. Also, finding out that someone else knows about the existence of freak kitchen is kind of comforting. Haha. High five mr. Gregg sir.
Beatboxing would be kind of amusing.
Also, uh, babaloo. SPEAKING OF BEATBOXING. There is this band that has a beatboxing song. On this album. It's pretty silly. It's a cool band. They are best described as jazz/metal/gypsy music/other/avant-garde/etc
They call themselves estradasphere.
I think various people in the band/forum would find this band to be, how they say, 'pretty sweet.'
Sorry if I went off on a random tangent there.
I happen to be the one who made Gregg aware of the FK...I've been a fan for several years. Love em.
Clay
I've only really heard their newest 2 albums, Move and Organic. For me, the song that makes me chuckle the most is "independent way of life."
But I agree, definitely more complex than it seems at first. Yarr.
