Really good music.

Funny you mention that, Luminous. My friend is sending me the new Coheed and Cambria right now. I haven't heard them before.

CHECKING OUT TOSHACK!
They rule. Both their albums are good, but In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth 3 is their first great album. The vocals can be a bit much, but give them time and you'll realize they are actually well done.

Based on what I've heard from In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth, I think the vocals are good. Sometimes it gets a little too... almost silly, I guess, for my tastes. Like the clapping and "whoa-oh's" in Blood Red Summer, or the "koo koo kachoo" in Faint of Hearts. But damned if The Crowing isn't one of the catchiest songs I've heard in a long time.

Depends on which Twilight Singers album you are referring to. Their debut, Twilight as Played By..., was a mixture of rock, r n b, and techno which was pretty fucking great if I do say so myself, especially because of the vocalists (Greg Dulli and Shawn Smith of The Afghan Whigs) who are awesome.

The second album, Blackberry Belle, is a bit more eclectic. It's also much, much less rnb and more rock. There's dark sultry rock songs, light and happy beautiful songs, and even a country song sung by Mark Lanegan of Screaming Trees and QOTSA fame. It's easily one of my favorite albums of the year.

Man, Teenage Wristband is a great song. Methinks I'll have to grab this album (Blackberry Belle) next time I'm out.
