Since a while I am trying to perfect my mixing skills and using as less processing as possible. My problem I think is the initial balancing, so I wanted to find out what the issues are with this mix.
This has only Eq, Comp and a little room Verb (All Reaper On board plugins)
and beause Drums , and Bass are midi, there is not a lot of humanizing done yet.
Like I said, this is loading the stems and midi in the DAW, and balancing my instruments.
I chose the Drum, Bass and Guitarsounds as if I would have recorded them, so step by step. Now I need some input on:
- Balance issues
- Frequency issues
- Overall
