I think when I get home and start building up my new rig, I'm going to go with the Radial kit and the Redeye...... Just because of all the differences between pickups/active/passive yadda yadda.....
My old setup was just a $40 DI, and then flipped to reamp.... Cheap but effective, but there is no substitute for a real reamp unit.

WOW dude, that seems a little excessive - I can understand wanting different DI's, but you only need one reamp box regardless of pickups, so I'd vote the Redeye and a Radial J48 (if you think you even need it)
Hmmm.... I'll have to research a little bit more..... I thought there was still an issue with the different reamp boxes??? Maybe I'm just getting it mixed up with the DI impedance matching shit.... If that's the case, the redeye and the J48 would be all I need....
Going great so far.... Been running missions from Kuwait to northern Iraq.... Can't get too specific for obvious reasons.... But it's fun
To keep on topic, I've been using my trusty old PODxt as my DI into my laptop.... Better than nothing, I'll be able to reamp all my shit when I get home!

I edited my post beacuse I already thought it would be pointless. I don't know if it's cultural differences or whatever, but for me it's just ridiculous to describe a war as "fun". I'm far away from starting a discussion about this thing because I know everyone has another point of view. This forum is imho not about such a issue. But I find this posting very upsetting and it makes me really speechless.
