Our tracks are ready to be re-amped. We are a Death Metal band looking for a modernized tone rather than a underground/super brutal sound

Dry Tracks:

LTD - M1000
Emgs - 81 (mostly) 85 (hardly)
Dropped A tuning [AEADF#B] - 6 string
4 guitars tracks (2 left 2 right)

HAS anyone got any tips on which Amps + Cabs to use

Weve got a:

5150
framus cobra
mesa road king (can get)

cabs

mesa oversize cab
Vader (can get)

ANY tips on the perfect tone for example I love these tones:

- Day 69 - Decapitated
[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F7_jznNuqtA&feature=related[/ame] - The Last Felony - Too Many Humans
- Endless cycle of violence - Cephalic Carnage (The lower and power chord tone rather than the spazzy stuff)
- JFAC - Constitutional Masturbation
- Emmure - Children of cyberton - (gay i know but the tone is amazing especially the dischords)
[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yiqSF3b_2YI&feature=related[/ame] - Faceless - sons of belial (recorded on a line 6 vetta)

Ive been told the key is to have maybe the 5150 higher gain with a nice feel of sustain to it. Then have another amp like the Mesa punchy, bassier and tighter sounding to give it that attack. Any advice would be much apreciated. Even other amp recommendations cos I could ask around to borrow one.

:D thanks alot for reading.

Well those are all very different tones. Honestly your best bet is to get yours amps together, use the mesa OS cab and make some test tracks. The tones/settings are going to vary drastically based on the other tracks, the playing and the parts so no one can really give you a short answer. I would probably start with the 5150 myself, and use that as my base tone but after that just play around until you find something awesome.

Off the top of my head I'd say 2 tracks 5150 (w/ a Tubescreamer), 2 tracks Cobra, Mesa cab on all 4... but I haven't heard your mix, so it's really just an educated shot in the dark in reference to bringing the br00tz to the party.

Search the threads in the Rate my tone section for some help with settings, and find Guitarguru777's tutorial vid on reamping and the one on micing cabs.
