Hey guys, I know there is a thread on the top about this, but I am such a newbie into recording that I didn't understand almost anything about it.
I was wondering if there is anyone out there who can explain me how to reamp specifically using a Line 6 UX2 as the audio interface. SO MUCH HELP NEEDED HERE.
Thanks,
Diego.

So, I own an UX2 too and I did successful reamps with it.

But you need a passive DI box or a reamp box for this to work. I use this one: http://www.thomann.de/de/palmer_pan_01.htm

I used one of the analog outs (the headphone-out works too) on the back and connected it with the DI-box, then from the DI-box into the instrument input of the amp. After this, just mic the amp and connect the mic with the microphone input of the UX2.
Go into your DAW, pan the signal to the left/right, so that the analog out which is connected to the DI box gets the signal.

Nevertheless micing was pretty difficult because when I wanted to monitor the miced sound it started to feedback.

It is still possible and you can get pretty decent results with it. ;)

I reamped all the rhythms of my bands EP with the UX2:

Cheers :D

Ngoc's got it if you're trying to record an actual amp through the UX2 as an interface. Personally, I just record all my tracks through my DI box, use pod farm as a dongle to enable the VST and 'reamp' with pod farm sounds from there.
