reaper issue ReaSamplomatic 5000

ReaSamplomatic 5000 forgets the sample I've loaded when reopening a session.

does not happen on my mac.

I can't reproduce your problem dude. Any details on the sample you're using?

doesn't matter which sample, folder and sample was chosen at random.
sample is not on the same drive. It does seem to get copied to the session folder when saved, but from there doesn't relink.

Also the playback mode of the plugin changes.

AND it doesn't put out a consistent level based on velocity. I'm looping a section of 4 notes @ 127 velocity. every couple times it loops theres a hit that's 6dbB quieter.

Just a random idea...what about copying the sample to the same drive outside of reaper and see if it works that way?

tried again linking to the sample that was copied to the session folder. same shit

The answer was a preference: Save Full VST Plugin state. It was off.
