Easy On The Eyes (EOTE) Darker Grid (you could find the same with a lighter grey in te arranger view itself)

It has been my theme since I got reaper, never changed. I still find it very very operational, nothing is distracting, everything is easy to read. Great theme.

BTW adam, I like your toolbar, looks very practical to me. I love that everything is understandable just by looking at it in a second. I'm probably gonna build mine around it. I LOVE the left toolbar, with the toggle rec ON/OFF, I don't know how much time I lose when I wanna un-solo my tracks to listen to the whole mix, and then solo them again. Now it's all easy peasy.

I have never used a custom toolbar, so I changed the main toolbar to yours, but what about the top toolbar ? I go into customize action/toolbar, then I edit "floating toolbar 1" and import your toptoolbar, but get an error message "ReaperMenu does not have menu for Floating Toolbar 1"

Auto-solution : I read somewhere after some googling that someone else had the same problem, and loading it on the floating toolbar 2 works fine. weird ?

Other couple of minor issues :
- Some icons don't show up, some do, are those custom while the others are native ?

- the real issue : once docked on top, it appears like blank on my usual theme, but it's a V3 or even V2 one, so it seems like I cannot get around this one. It's just I wanted to notify other people who might be in the same case. It works fine with other themes I have.

Love it anyway !

EDIT : solved the icon problem : they use some of your v3v4 mashup theme specific icons, that you probably put together ? When it's loaded, all icons are there, when it's not, it appears like in the picture ^ cause then the icon set changes. After some reading I still can't get my head around how to customize the icon set so that I can copy yours and have the matched icons. I could change them but then they don't look alike (not to mention icons like the one you have for multi-line display of overlapping items are perfect), and don't know which ones are bound to the current theme.

I am using Default_Analog_V1.8 in Reaper V4.56, using the Black Default Layout which matches the track faders to the FX and Send color and looks nicer for color coding tracks. I wish I knew how to make my own layout because I would like to add quick macros for automation mode on the mixer instead of having to use the pop out menu every time.

I think the imperial theme looks amazing but I switched back to the default theme a few hours later because I realized I'm way faster with it. But I will look into some other theme suggestions of you guys.

Does anyone know of a way to make the tracks in the default theme have the solid backing color, like in the Imperial theme:

I can change the color of the waveforms themselves, but I can't find a way to have the whole wave block a certain color, only transparent.

Sorry for the big pic.

Preferences > Appearance > Peaks/Waveforms > Custom Colors

Tint media item waveform peaks to:
Tint media item background to:

You want to select the background one.

Thanks man! I was looking under the theme editor and figured it was in there. This is exactly what I wanted! This gives me much more motivation to customize my shit more! I have a gaming keyboard with the macro keys and I think I'm about to play around with certain quick commands too.
