REASON 3.0 MATRIX PATTERN STEP SEQUENCER HELP

im currently doing a project for college doing a study on pitch and control voltage, i have to make a 2 minute peice. i have put all the patterns into the edit sequencer page but everytime i press player all the matrix's start playing there sequence at the same time....help
