Hi Ken,

Just to really switch genres, I noticed that you have a few of the really old Tangerine Dream titles like Zeit and Green Desert. Any chance you'd get a hold of their recent titles like the Dante trilogy, Jeanne D'Arc, or Phaedra 05?

(Heck, you could sell a few copies of Jeanne D'Arc just by people thinking it was the Thy Majestie CD!)

Cheers,

Ken:

I bailed on T Dream in the early 90s. Froese has been releasing an endless stream of "product" for many years. I'm sure there are some good ones buried in the dross but I don't want to have to sift through it. What he's done with the old titles is reprehensible.

I believe he has taken some of the older releases and mucked around with them quite a bit - overdubbing and remixing. This is what I've been told. The last time I saw the Tangs there was Linda Spa on sax (she was a better model than she was a player) and a Yugoslavian guitarist as well as Edgar and Jerome Froese. When they played Purple Haze I knew they had officially jumped the shark.
