(Quite a lot of folk-influenced/world music, but you wrote "any genre/any type of music". It reminds me a bit of the DCD-stuff with Lisa Gerrard on vocals.)

A turkish friend of mine just turned me onto a band called Mezarkabul. It's along the lines of Orphaned Land, Cage, and Lefay. I just ordered one of their cds a few minutes ago, based upon this download:
