Have fun.

Dark Medieval Times - Satyricon
Slowly We Rot - Obituary
Soulside Journey - Darkthrone
138 - Devourment

if nothing else get the devourment, cuz uhhh..it kinda..FREAKIN RULES :kickass:

To be different from all the black metal <3:

Solitude Aeturnus - Beyond the Crimson Horizon
Candlemass - Nightfall
Pentagram - Relentless
Manowar - Hail to England

Trouble is ok I guess. Saint Vitus is good but one of their worst albums imo so try to track down some other ones instead. You really should get both Darkthrone albums too though.

Flotsam and Jetsam - No Place for Disgrace
Solitude Aeturnus - Beyond the Crimson Horizon
Trouble - Psalm 9
Pentagram - Relentless
Candlemass - Nightfall

Get those 5, pronto. No Place For Disgrace has be to dirt cheap in price, so that's reason enough to make it your 5th. Combine it with those doom masterpieces and you'll be set for a while.

Of the ones I know, I can tell you Soulside Journey and Dark Medieval Times are damn good. Practice What You Preach is a good album, but don't get it unless you already have The Legacy, The New Order, and The Gathering, as they're all better.
I'd say:
Soulside Journey
DMT
Slowly We Rot
whatever

I would have listed Born Too Late, but it's backordered where I usually get CDs

I plan on getting some F&J on CD very soon since I have both albums listed on vinyl (Have no idea how I found them on that format). You're right though, I need to go on a big doom metal haul soon.

I popped this shit into Excel, so leading so far:

DsO - SMRC with 7 votes. In second is Soulside Journey with 5 votes.

Devourment, Ulver and SA are in third, tied with 4
