I'd recommend AFI, it's kinda Goth-Punk, and they may seem happy but their lyrics are fucking depressive. Try : God Called In Sick Today, Ever And A Day, Death of Seasons, The Lost Souls or ... But Home Is Nowhere. Just to name a few :Spin:

Otherwise, take a look to Aeternus, Avernus, Dark Sanctuary (Dark Wave), Etheral, Lacuna Coil, Katatonia (quiet world is higly depressive), Anathema, Opeth, Theatre Of Tragedhy, To Die For, Charon (and shit like HIM or these).

@LadyJustice: Suicidal Tendencies are Hardcore/Metal, but no depressive at all. As far as I am concerned, I mean.
