EMG are a pretty eccentric London-based quartet, that I think/hope a fair few people (in contradistinction to my other reco) here will like. The band's music is really nice, organic metal, with moments that make me think of sludge, prog/space rock, psychadelia, and a strong folk feel. It's a great mix of genres, with clean vocals, memorable guitar lines, well-written songs and an ever-changing array of atmospheres. Everything is featured from monolithic dirges through tranquil and trippy interludes, and groove-laden doom. Basically it's emotive, fairly original and well thought out stuff. Hopefully a lot of people can get on board with the Sludgyfolkspaceddoomhippies (their description, not mine
