Favela of My Dismay
Atmospheric Post Hardcore act from Britain. These guys have f'd up teeth and they're pissed. Inle would mark their final release, which also happens to be the only album I've heard. All of the band's releases have been conceptual albums centered around some bunny book named Watership Down. Being late to the Amenra party, I came across FoE as I was searching for bands of a similiar cloth. Needless to say, these crumpet noshers display a mighty amount of atmosphere and emotive kick assery on Inle. The vocals may take a couple turns to get used to, same can be said of Amenra, but acclimation is achieved in relative short time. The real meat and potatoes of the album come towards the middle with The Burial and Woundwort, this is where they turn up the heat, and start sweating in their track suits like chavs outside of a liquor store.

Anybody here check this reco out? I've been listening to this album almost exclusively for the past 3 weeks. Every time I have an inclination to listen to something else in the car, I'm drawn back to this tour de grandiose. The core elements while abrasive at first are stripped away with every listen, the end product is as smooth as Alison Brie's creamy countenance.

Same vocalist, music more post metal than Efrafafalalala. Really enjoying lifting to these fuckers as of late. Seem to get swept away from mental fog b.s and more in tune with getting the blood flow going.
