Fucking hell, this takes me back - my dad's got 'Hypertrace' by Scanner on vinyl somewhere, used to get a lot of spins when I first got into metal. That, M.O.D.'s 'Gross Misconduct', 'Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son' and 'British Steel' got some heavy rotation.

Damn, I think I've liked almost every one of Tully's recommendations. Always heard about these guys but never got around to checking them out, pretty damn awesome.

Very good album, "Hypertrace" is probably their best. Until "Ball Of The Damned" they were brilliant, then they transformed into poo. Nice to listen to them from time to time, in order remember a time when Germany delivered good power metal.

haha, Scanner? Yeah, they're the shizzle. 'Hypertrace' is the one though. 'Terminal Earth' is good, but I notice you strategically left off the gay stuff ('Buy or Die', 'Telemania', 'L.A.D.Y.') I stuck with 'em through 'Ball of the Damned', but yeah, 'Scantropolis' was pretty weak.
