Sorry if this is something everybody else knows, but what organization tracks international record sales? And how many record sales does Bodom have? I can't seem to find this information anywhere...thx in advance

In the U.S. and Canada the company is called Nielsen SoundScan, referred to as just "SoundScan".
They track every physical and digital sale of music, as well as pre-sale. As soon as it's scanned at the cash register of any store that sells music, it is accounted for.
Unfortunately SoundScan is not a free public service and the everyday person cant just look up the sales of artists.

Edit: Just found out, SoundScan also is used in Europe and the rest of the world. So its not only to the US and Canada, pretty much everywhere
