Recorded small budget, big studio!

Alright, I'm gonna share this album sample mp3 with you guys. I'm happy with it! It was recorded on a Neve console in Nashville with some pretty decent gear. Very limited budget that nearly ran out when vocals happened but you all know how that it.

Really digging this, some really nice balanced stuff. What equipment did you use for the guitars?

Wow, was expecting some bad comments cuz it's not "perfect" lol. Glad you guys like it.

Vocals: AT tube condenser (awful, never use) and a U87, diff studios, diff mics. Pre was API 512C for the AT and Neve 1073 for U87. LA2A on the way in.

Guitar: Splawn Quickrod w/Mesa OS. Royer 121 and SM57 both dead center into API pre. Mesa Voodoo mod Triple reamp with same setup and also through a H and K 1/12 cab to add random mids.

Bass: DI with a crap ton of VST's

Drums: All Neumann KM84's on OH and HH. SM87 on China and ride. Kick and Snare are my own samples. All Neve pres.

For such a tiny budget, I can't complain but it seems people like it! Glad you guys do.

Forgot to add, this was my first mastering job as well after the paid mastering was just awful. Forced learning isn't so bad sometimes I guess.
