Recording drums under slanted ceiling?

Drummers new house has a main room (est 30ftx30ft) that has a ceiling that goes from 8ft to 20ft. I'd assume this would be good as reflections wont come straight back down. Any insight on this?

Record the drums in the 20ft end and put room mics up in the 8ft end. That should sound awesome.

My ceiling is the same deal, I have not done any recording in my living room yet though. Did just put down some hardwood flooring though so things sound pretty live as they are.
