Just bought an issue of sound on sound, first production related magazine i've ever bought (usually buy total guitar), was wondering if anybody knows of any other decent ones I could keep an eye out for?

I mostly dig electronic musician. Dropped recording because it got really terrible. Interviews that didn't seem to have shit to do with recording the record.

Funnest interview was the one with Deadmau5 in electronic musician. First couple paragraphs were the normal bullshit questions and then he goes "um, fuck I dunno. These questions are fucking dumb."

I about died. He really just wanted to talk gear.

That's my thought, also count the number of advertisement pages vs total number of pages, it's insane !

there are a ton of ads in tapeop, but at least the content is good and not overly gear-centric for the most part. most of the interviews seem to deal with the philosophy of making records and working with artists, which i like. also, it's free.
