Thanks man, it sounds pretty good. There's a bit more live and room than most impulses which should prove useful in certain contexts.

BTW, is the phase flipped? I tried blending it with other impulses and it seems it is.
 
There is more "room" because the wave is really long, probably.
If you want to make it sound more "direct" you should cut it shorter (about 1/5th of the actual length would work).

The phase is flipped but there is also a little pre-delay at the beginning, so it's still not going to be 100% in phase with other IRs available.

^^ I think cutting the decay won't necessarily effect how much room we perceive to be in the sound, because of the early reflections.
 
Yes, cutting the decay would affect the room ambience but not the early reflections influence
