Okay so this is a clip I made. 1) Mesa 2) Orange 3) Marshall. Mesa sounded best to me here. Personally I would have the Orange mic closer to the center.

I like the Orange cabs with 57 on left, i5 on right. Blended in with an impulse I've been working on (of an old stereo with a Jensen through a 15 year old hifi speaker in a makeshift cabinet that took me about 30 tries), killer combination. I might impulse the new sound & share it if that's ok.

After mastering, it blends in better but keeping this mix for reference. Just used TSEx50 w/default settings. (This is in no way trying to "fix" your sound, I just happen to be trying this out when I found your impulses).

Here's with a Schecter C8 DI (same plugins/impulses & just guitar). I had a hell of a time trying to get this to sound like it wasn't an acoustic bass a while back & gave up.

My impulses are available in the JST "Conquer All" IR packs.
The Conquer All impulses are higher quality than my earlier free ones.
