Red Dragon!

Yep, the book rules. I wasn't too keen on the original movie of it ("Manhunter") but "Red Dragon" looks like it'll be a good one. Been getting some great reviews in the US.

In other movies he does, yes, not in this one though. He's not the main villain, he's just a supporting character - if the movie is faithful to the book then he should only have a couple of scenes. Francis Dolarhyde (sp?) is the main villain in this one, and he rocks.

Go yell at Spiffy you stupid bastard :D I was asking what his M.O. is, Hannibals was that he was a cannibal, whats this nutters?

I wasn't giving away the movie at all! You just have to watch the trailer to see what it's about!

Spawny, Francis is a psycho. That's pretty much all you need to know. :)

Francis Dolarhyde bites people, and he's rather annoyed that the papers refer to him as the Tooth Fairy.

He was abandoned by his teenage mother and brought up by his grandmother, who once threatened to cut off his penis after a bed-wetting incident. No wonder he turned into a psychopath!

Due to a hare lip, other facial deformities and a pronounced lisp, his childhood nickname was in fact "C**t Face"

He's a delusional schizophrenic whose favourite painting is William Blake's "The Great Red Dragon and The Woman Clothed With The Sun" (hence the title). He believes the dragon talks to him and encourages him to kill people.

As you can tell, it's one of my favourite books. I first read it when VXI came out, and consequently played "Don't Look... " rather a lot at the time

I've heard that the movie changes the story quite a bit so that Lecter plays a more prominent role. As long as it's better than Hannibal, I don't care :).

Cunt Face,thats it.

Yeah apparently Lecter is mr consultant man again, more so then in the book. It'd be hard for them to seel a prequel to silence of the lambs with having the star of the series in it.

Have you seen "Manhunter", Wrathy? I saw it years ago, in 1992 or 1993, but can't remember if I liked it or not - tonnes of people think it's better than "Silence" though.
