Reformed Dutch death metal outfit ASPHYX — Martin van Drunen (vocals), Wannes Gubbels (bass/vocals), Paul Baayens (guitar) and Bob Bagchus (drums) — has issued the following update: "Great news at the beginning of 2009! In August 2008, ASPHYX was recording six songs some kind of instrumental pre-production/demo just to try things out.
