Anyone heard of a band called "Refused"?

Or maybe they're called "The Refused"

well anyway.. they're some kind of punk-metal (and since I like some punk it appeals to me).. their heavier stuff is really good. Very unique, their drummer and vocalist are pretty unique.

Anyway, give 'em a go. Look for the song "New Noise," and get back to me..

I'm really diggin' this though..

That band gets too much airplay at Muchmusic's Loud.
Anyway, its nothing that I really like, since punk/hardcore is not my type of shit.

I should probably watch Loud once in a while.. my Muchmusic comes in poorly.

I just liked his scream a lot.. and the video was nifty. I was VERY baked at the time.. could that have had anything to do with it?

one of my good friends loves refused-but yeah, he definately leans towards the hardcore stuff. he put 'new noise' on a tape for me and i liked it ok! i wasnt motivated to buy an album or anything.

Yeah, that is a pretty good song. I don't really like that style, but the video is definitely interesting. They somewhat look like The Beatles. Yes, he does scream a lot. *shrugs*

There's old Refused members in The International Noise Conspiracy, I think. Good band, though more than a little pretentious.

The winners of the "pretentious cup" goes to a band local to me who are called ...Meanwhile, Back In Communist Russia. The name says it all.
