It's when someone plunges a sword THROUGH someone else's face. That was one of those moments where everyone goes WTF because it has never been done before. :headbang:

And then a few moments later, the old guy gets his hand chopped off with the axe.

HOLD....HOLD.....

I own Braveheart but I can't watch it. It's on laserdisc. Wow, it's a wonder that format didn't stick around. 400 bucks a machine and fifty bucks apiece for those massive, inconvenient platters.

that movie was on last night:headbang: that moment, and the moment the dude gets a spike or something into his stomach made me scarred for a few days:headbang:

Edit: aren't laserdiscs huge as fuck and may substitute as a frisbee?

There hasn't been a film yet to match the battle scenes in Braveheart. When the sword plunges through the guy's face and comes out the back of his head, it just hasn't been matched.

ALTHOUGH......the final scene in Conan the Barbarian where Conan sets up the traps in the stone temple and asks Crom for help otherwise "to hell with you" was pretty f'ing cool too.

DO you think a third Conan will ever come out? At one point the script had been greenlit, "Crown of Iron". I mean, it obviosuly doesn't even need Schwarzenegger -- just lots of bloodshed and snake worship. They should resurrect Thulsa Doom too.

it was supposed to be about his son Kon. and the Wachowski brothers were gonna do it and have a bigger battle than helms deep.

but I would rather see an actual Robert E. Howard story made into a movie.
