Does anyone know if Sun Caged has replaced their Keyboard Player and Lead Vocalist?

How about Empty Tremor, David Shankle Group, Cage, or Lana Lane / Erik Norlander?

Empty Tremor would probably work.
But they would have to head-line the Pre-Party do to the amount of material they have. Unless Sun Caged somehow makes up with the ex-singer of Lemur Voice and brings him in to do a Sun Caged/Lemur Voice show.
Cage & Lana Lane both are two big for the Pre-Party.
They should both appear on one of main nights some year.
Who is the David Shankle Group?
I'll have to look them up.

David Shankle was the guitarist for Manowar on the "Triumph of Steel" album. DSG is more like Malmsteen / Rainbow. Great guitar and keyboard duels!

Seven Seraphim would be a great fit...they're from Ohio & looking for opportunities. Neo classical progressive style...kinda Symphony X"ish"...really good stuff. Their "Believe in Angels" release slams pretty hard.

i'd like to hear these guys.

everyone else... you need to be realistic. it has to be a stateside band... there's only so much tiem, cash and effort we have before the show is upon us.

the replacement band will be a good one. for sure.

This is why I suggested the David Shankle Group. They're from Chicago. They're album "Ashes to Ashes" is very impressive!

Time Requiem should have the opening slot at PP6. Vision Divine would be another good opening slot.
You people are seriously underestimating Vision Divine. If they were at PP, they'd have the third slot AT LEAST, as far as i can figure. They are a supergroup featuring members of Rhapsody (well, formerly) and Labyrinth, for christsakes.

Also, Lost Horizon is WAAAY too big now to be playing the preparty. Their last album was huge...

Your opinion dude. You have to look at the draw a band has.

I agree Lost Horizon is way to big for the pre-party and at least a mid-band slot on the main stage. Their CD's are easy to fine, both locally and on the net.

Vision Divine though... never heard of 'em. Former members of groups in a new project pretty much means they would get mid-band level at best and probably lower. Fact of life on US promotion... you still need to sell tickets to the masses that don't have gold badges and if they've never heard of a band, that may be a ticket sale lost.

That said, I think I need to go track down a Vision Divine CD. I loved Labyrinth, so-so on Rhapsody... where do you suggest I start?

Scariot is no more, a few members have moved on to a new band Communic. Anyways some good pics but not for the pre show party since most of them are european, it's hard enough to get the bands in the main event over with the restrictions on visa's these day let alone the airfare. Suncaged is a different deal, since Marcel is known by alot of people from Seismic and Powermad. Anyways I heard it's going to be Magistral again.

Hi all,

Thanks for suggesting DSG (I'm the keyboardist). We're available to do the party, if anyone is interested please contact me @ shreddy@speakeasy. net . If not that's cool I still like all you ppl and I will be at the preshow party rooting on all the bands.

BTW we just opened for Dokken and Jackyl last night that was a great time. It was our debut show with our new singer Kyle Michaels who sang with Geezer Butler and Alex Masi, fans of Jorn will like his style.

I think you may actually be in the minority among power metal fans having not herad them, because I've known about Vision Divine for over 3 years now and I was under the impression that they were fairly well known, being a side project for Labyrinth's guitarist/main songwriter [or at least one of them] (who left Labyrinth to concentrate on this band) and Rhapsody's vocalist (who very recently left this project to work on Rhapsody).

I haven't heard too much of their stuff, but their first album "Vision Divine" is awesome, if you can find it. I think it's pretty rare.
