Requiem Aeternam, originally begun by Martin Lopez(opeth), Martin Mendez(opeth) and Jose Romero in Uruguay, now based in New York city, have recently completed the tracking of their second album "Philosopher" in Jersey City's Big Blue Meenie Studios (Anthrax, SOD, All out War, Overkill, etc). The drums were handled by none other than Alex Hernandez of Immolation.
The band has posted some recording session photos on their website www.requiem-aeternam.com and is heading back to the studio in mid June for mixing.
"Philosopher" should be ready by end of June, early July.
